The homecoming of
Ah, Wilderness!

Through the character of Richard Miller, O’Neill reinterprets his seminal youth with a coming-of-age tale that is classic entertainment for the entire family.

The Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association will produce O’Neill’s Ah, Wilderness! in celebration of Casa Genotta’s 75th Anniversary. Presented at the Historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Brunswick, the production is made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Being that O’Neill’s comedy of recollection takes place on Independence Day 1906, it is fitting that we celebrate the July 4th holiday with the homecoming of O'Neill's nostalgic comedy.

Homecoming Tours

Celebrating the 75th anniversary of Casa Genotta, the Ah, Wilderness Homecoming Tours are a one-of-a-kind experience for those inspired by history and the dramatic arts. The guided tours of Francis Louis Abreu’s masterpiece residence built for Eugene and Carlotta O’Neill allow guests to explore the life and mind of America’s foremost dramatist.

The intimate tours of Casa Genotta are limited to 20 persons for each tour, and are available exclusively to Sea Island members or those who purchase Ah, Wilderness! Homecoming tickets from the Golden Isles Arts and Humanities Association.
