The images presented here are held in the archives of the Sea Island Company. Excluding the architectural etching created by James Robeson, the photographs have been identified as being produced from the camera of Howard Coffin. Coffin, the visionary behind the foundation of the Sea Island Company, is presumably the photographer but we are not absolutely certain of this fact.
